SMS Staffing is Hiring Immediately for Medical Device Assemblers/Operators!

Title: Medical Device Assembler/Operator

Location: Plymouth, MN

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Pay Rate: $18.75 - $19.25 depending on shift

Shifts Available:

1st shift: M-TH 10.5 hour shifts with various start times between 4:30am-5:15am

2nd shift: M-TH 10.5 hour shifts with various start times between 3:30pm-4:00pm

Job Duties of Medical Device Assembler/Operator:

• Produces high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools
• Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain the organization, inventory levels, and the cleanliness of the device packaging area
• Performs a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry
• Follows safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations
• Utilizes the microscope to complete assembly inspections

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts as well as demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• High school degree or equivalent
• Previous experience working in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
