Job Description: Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding position in a fast paced environment. At Cambria Mortgage we are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and making the home lending process straightforward and easy. As a result of our continuing expansion, we are looking for professional, experience loan originators to represent Cambria Mortgage in Minnesota.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Position is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans by soliciting business through multiple channels, negotiating price to meet company profitability objectives, while ensuring compliance with established lending policies and procedures.
- Present Cambria Mortgage residential mortgage products to realtors, builders, and other housing related businesses in the Minnesota market.
- Effectively solicit, track and monitor all leads generated and provided by Cambria Mortgage.
- Identify new business opportunities to meet company goals.
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure customer service, loan quality and targets are achieved and/or exceeded.
- Maintain knowledge of compliance policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance or something similar.
Experience: At least 3 years of loan origination experience.
Qualifications and Skills: - Proven track record in mortgage sales
- Knowledge of loan products and underwriting guidelines
- State loan originator license
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships
- Effective and tactful negotiating skills
- Strong verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and time deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
Physical Requirements: - Office position requiring telephone and computer use.
Travel Requirements: - Travel required to networking or client events as well as to other Cambria locations.
