Doctor MD Now is hiring Nurse Practitioners with licensure in at least one of the following states (FL, GA, TX, NY, PA, OH, WI, NC, IL, MA, MI, NJ, MN, KY, OK, and others) for a potential role in our start up Tele/Virtual weight-loss consultation program.

Overview:
- Location: Fully Remote
- This is a Nurse Practitioner, Virtual Weight-Loss Consultation opportunity
- Schedule: Minimum 15 hours/week, flexible within 8 AM to 8 PM CST, any day of the week
- Hourly contract compensation is $55 hour - $65 hour
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits with new patients (ages 18+).
- At times review labs, and prescribe weight loss medications when appropriate, primarily GLP-1 agonists.
- Work with a diverse patient population, emphasizing inclusivity and evidence-based care.
- Check and respond to patient inquiries via the patient portal.
- Manage prescription refills.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in at least one of the following states: FL, TX, NY, PA, OH, WI, NC, IL, MA, MI, NJ, MN, KY, OK, or other states.
- 2 years experience as an NP
- Minimum 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists.
- Background in Internal, Family Medicine, Weight Loss
- Comfortable with complex chronic condition management
- Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
- Availability to work 12+ clinical hours per week (anytime during 8AM-8PM CST, 7 days a week)
