Job Description
*About Us*
We are probably different than any other place you’ve worked before. We founded Home Clinix because we wanted to create a home health medical practice that could take care of patients in a more complete way.
As an Occupational Therapist working for us, you won’t perform the basic tasks that you may have performed in an outpatient setting or even in other home health work before. In your OT schooling you received education and trainining on a variety of different treatments, techniques, and ideologies. We expect you to use them! We aren’t looking for an OT who just helps patients get in and out of the shower, who helps pick up their fork or the remote, or who has patients go for walks. We want all of our therapists to take the steps and provide expert suggestions that will actually improve patients’ quality of life
This includes working with other disciplines. As mentioned, we want to provide a better outcome of health for the patient for whatever ails them. Within our practice we have:
* Physical Therapy
* Occupational Therapy
* Primary Care and Pain Management Physicians
* Podiatry
* Speech Therapy
* Audiology
* Dietician Services
* Nursing
* CNAs
* Mental Health Therapy
* Behavioral Analytics
* Athletic Training
* Massage Therapy
* Pathology Lab
* DME
*What We are Hiring For:*
We are hiring for a OT to evaluate and treat patients in Davis and Weber Counties. The ideal candidate will live within this area and will be able to freely travel to patients homes or to other facilities to meet with patients. A large focus of the job will be performing evaluations, performing routine treatments, and supervision of COTAs. The setting of the position will be dynamic and will focus on treating patients in their home.
As an OT working in home health you will work with a variety of different patients that come from different referral sources. The job is never boring. Sometimes you will find a lot of flexibility in your schedule based on your case load and other times you will find yourself busy all day.
An OT with us will thrive in an environment where they set their own schedule, enjoy the one on one interaction with patients where you are the sole provider there, and who enjoys solving problems and utilizing new techniques and methods. Compensation surpasses that earned by most OTs working in an outpatient setting, but comes with certain expectations of being a self starter, working with little supervision, and being a prompt and concise communicator.
*Compensation*
Compensation will be as a 1099 contractor at the following rates:
* Evaluations/Reassesses/DC: Starting at $75
* Routine Visits: $55 (if needed; these are typically done by a COTA, but may be done by OT based in schedule and availability.
