We are on the lookout for an Office Assistant for our operations in Crystal Lake, Illinois, 60014, United States. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for managing phone communications, performing various office tasks, and handling invoicing through QuickBooks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in a fast-paced workplace, where you can utilize your skills to contribute to our team.

Responsibilities:
• Handle and direct phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the office
• Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing and other financial tasks
• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure customer applications and records are updated regularly
• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
• Experience in office administration or similar role is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang
• Experience with office equipment, like fax machines and printers
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Customer service attitude.
