Immediate Openings for Owner Operators for Birmingham, AL Lanes

What you will be doing:

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipt
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

What you should have:

• Must be 23 years of age
• Proven work experience as a truck driver.Minimum of 2 years of recent driving experience with Class A CDL
• TWIC cards are recommended but not necessary
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Clean MVR
• Accident Free
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
• Valid Class A license and medical card
• Fuel card provided
• Weekly settlement through direct deposit
