Job Description

Summary

We are currently seeking a part time childcare professional to work with children ages 13 months to 3 years. Applicant must be able to work 2:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday and have some experience working with young children. This position could also include subbing as needed. This position reports to the Infant and Toddler Program Coordinator.

Duties

• Actively engage with children ages 13 months to 3 years
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
• Help ensure smooth, end of the day transition.
• Strong communication skills.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain 12 hours of Professional Development yearly.
• Closing down the Toddler program at the end of the day

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
• ECE credits preferred with a minimum of 3 credits in Child Growth and Development.
• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must clear full background check.
• Strong work ethic.
• Must be 18 or older.
