Job Summary :
Are you looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact in your community? Join our team as a
Pharmacy Delivery Driver ! In this role, you will ensure timely and safe delivery of prescription medications directly to consumers, as well as transport medications to other pharmacy locations as needed. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with pharmacy protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver prescription and over-the-counter medications directly to consumers or transport medications between pharmacy locations.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with pharmacy regulations in all deliveries.
- Keep accurate delivery logs and navigate efficiently to complete timely deliveries.
- Track mileage for reimbursement and ensure the safe handling of medications.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Satisfactory driving record.
- Previous healthcare, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
Additional Requirements :
- Ability to drive for extended periods and make multiple stops while maintaining focus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of city navigation and time management for deliveries.
