12275 – Project Estimator (onsite) – Juno Beach, FL

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions.
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Experience in estimating or construction on large, heavy civil projects in the power market sector (1+ year or 7+ years);
• Experience with Excel

Preferred:
• Experienc e in renewables or transmission projects.
• Field Experience (5+ years);
• Bachelor's Degree in the following Fields of Study: Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management.

Responsibilities:
• Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
• Coordinate and interface on a regular basis with other departments to ensure communication and understanding of proposal/project objectives and the most efficient and productive utilization of resources
• Review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
• Remains current with technology and industry evolution in order to assure that project capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions
• Establishes, builds and implements metrics for cost and construction estimate checks
• Mentors and develops junior members of the team
