ChristianaCare is searching for a Project Manager in the Patient Safety department, who will design, manage and execute system-wide event management processes including coordination, facilitation and integration of event/peer review information to achieve continuous improvements in patient care delivery and optimal patient outcomes. Acts as an expert resource for event management with the objectives of enhancing patient safety, reducing patient harm and achieving Christiana Care’s strategic and patient safety goals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and a strong aptitude for leading and facilitating performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in nursing
Current Delaware/Compact RN licensure required.
Minimum two years’ work experience in patient safety or quality preferred.
Organizational skills and project management experience in patient safety or quality preferred.
Certification by National Association for Health Care Quality preferred.
Experience in supervisory or management position preferred.
Education, understanding of and/or experience in one or more of the following are desirable: information technology, performance improvement, outcome analysis, utilization management, team facilitation and education (patient/staff) preferred.
