About MBA Energy & Industrial

MBA Energy & Industrial, LLC, headquartered in Magnolia, Texas, is a design-build EPC contractor specializing in renewable energy, industrial process, and utility infrastructure projects across the U.S. We execute full-scope Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) , Landfill Gas (LFG) , Biogas-to-Energy and Traditional Energy Project developments — from concept and design through commissioning and operations support.

We are immediately hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and construction of renewable energy and biogas facilities throughout the Lower 48 states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage all phases of project execution from initiation through close-out — including design management, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and construction oversight.
  • Technical Review: Interpret and manage engineering deliverables including P&IDs, isometric and orthographic drawings, and instrumentation diagrams. Verify design compliance, issue and track RFIs/RFPs, and manage submittal workflows.
  • Financial & Schedule Control: Track and control project costs, manage change orders, review and approve shop drawings, and ensure completion within schedule and budget.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Conduct progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, progress reports, and O&M documentation.
  • Procurement & Contracting: Solicit bids, negotiate vendor and subcontractor agreements, and manage contract deliverables.
  • Field Oversight: Coordinate with field superintendents and junior project managers, conduct regular site visits, and ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in renewable energy, RNG, landfill gas, biogas, or oil & gas
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, process piping, valves, instrumentation, and controls common to biogas, RNG and traditional energy systems.
  • Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with complex stakeholder interfaces.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (experience may substitute).
  • Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Project, Procore, and standard Microsoft Office applications.

The Role

This is a full-time, salaried position based in either:

  • Magnolia/The Woodlands, TX area
  • Austin/Round Rock/Georgetown/Taylor, TX area

Minimal travel is required (typically 3–4 days every 6–8 weeks).

Standard work hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM .
