Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.
  • Develop and maintain applications and microservices, ensuring robust functionality and optimization.
• Integration & Deployment
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with server-side logic.
  • Leverage continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and timely code deployment.
• Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and streamline development workflows.
• Data & Analytics
  • Implement and maintain data pipelines using Python-based frameworks (e.g., Pandas, PySpark, Airflow).
  • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data processing and ensure accurate data modeling.
• Testing & Optimization
  • Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, optimizing code for speed and scalability.
• Documentation & Maintenance
  • Document code, processes, and project specifications for future reference and maintenance.
  • Stay up to date on best practices in Python development, software architecture, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven Expertise in Python
  • Solid understanding of Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Experience with asynchronous Python (e.g., asyncio, Celery) is a plus.
• Web & API Development
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and web standards.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture is a plus.
• Database & Data Handling
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and/or ORM usage.
• Version Control & CI/CD
  • Proficiency using Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI is desired.
• Cloud & Containerization (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Problem-Solving & Communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) to better integrate backend functionalities.
