Job Title: Quality Engineer Pay Rate: $35.00-$49.00/hour, direct with full benefits + $2,000 sign on bonus Location: Middle River, MD 21220 Area Code: 443 Shift: 1st #turbineengines #qualityengineer #manufacturingjobs *$2,000 sign on bonus offered* This is a full time direct job. Great matching candidates will have a strong shop floor, machining and quality engineering background. You will be working within the Quality Engineering Department onsite at our large aviation customer. Quality Engineer job duties:

• Assist Production Supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective action
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering on generation or final review of FMEA
• Generate in-process inspection steps (as required) and enter into SAP
• Generate C919 product and process audits for the inspectors to use
• Verify the build process to the newly generated AS9102

Core Qualifications:

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing and quality engineering role, ideally within aerospace industries
• Knowledge in various manufacturing processes (machining, welding, fabrication, and NDT, etc.)
• Proficient understanding of GD&T with ability to read blueprints, routers, planners
• Skilled with FMEA and AS9102
• Computer savvy; Excel and SAP
• Experience analyzing problems, identifying root causes and providing efficient solutions using structured methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Ability to communicate effectively with operators, peers, and management, in both written and oral manners
• Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship or permanent resident required

Desired skills:

• Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree
• Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training
• CNC programming skills; NX or MasterCam
