About the Role:

We seek a detail-oriented and motivated SEO Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for search engine optimization (SEO), a keen analytical mindset, and a drive to stay current with SEO best practices and industry trends. As an SEO Associate, you will play a critical role in enhancing our website’s visibility, improving search engine rankings, and driving organic traffic to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy Development:
• Assist in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic to one of our premier clients.
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and opportunities for content optimization.
• On-Page Optimization:
• Perform comprehensive on-page SEO audits, including analysis of meta tags, headings, and content structure.
• Optimize website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions, to align with identified keywords and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure content is optimized for search engines and user experience.
• Technical SEO:
• Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and address issues related to website performance, crawlability, and indexability. Monitor and resolve technical SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and site speed problems.
• Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and improvements.
• Performance Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software (e.g., Lumar, Ahrefs).
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, including key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement changes to improve SEO performance.
• Competitor Analysis:
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify SEO strategies and tactics used by key competitors.
• Analyze competitor websites for keyword opportunities, content gaps, and backlink strategies.
• Stay Current with Industry Trends:
• Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Share industry insights and recommendations with the team to ensure ongoing SEO effectiveness.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including content creators, designers, and developers to align SEO efforts with overall marketing goals.
• Communicate SEO insights and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related role.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Lumar, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
