HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

The Security Architect will report to the Chief Information Security Officer in the Technology Department. This role will work closely with product design, implementation engineers, and application developers to advance security features as a core platform component. This role will involve technical leadership and apply a high degree of hands-on subject matter expertise to support the design and development of systems resilient to attempted abuse and that exhibit industry leading security features.

• Lead security architecture for Inspira’s platform design and development program, including the design of security controls, policies, and procedures to protect against security threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify security risks and vulnerabilities within the platform and develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to address them
• Apply expertise in healthcare and fintech security frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, PCI, SOC2) and industry best practices to ensure that our platform exceeds industry requirements and offers leading security features
• Architect security best practices and guidelines, focusing on securing multi-tenant platforms and protecting against common security threats and attacks
• Evaluate, select, and implement security tools and technologies to enhance our platform's security posture, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-fraud controls, logging and monitoring, encryption, application security defenses, and access controls
• Develop incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to security incidents and breaches, including incident detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. Design a platform that provides effective investigation and forensic capabilities
• Proactively seek opportunities to lead feature discovery, provide feedback to other design and development teams, and drive security options so they are core to the product
• Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including security architecture diagrams, policies, procedures, and security incident reports. Prepare regular security reports for management and stakeholders
• Be able to lead team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate consensus and achieve security program goals
• Other duties as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

• 10+ years of experience in security architecture involving product development with security as a leading component
• Deep knowledge of the DevOps/DevSecOps processes, application security, product identity management, and fraud prevention technologies
• Demonstrable record of technical architecture leadership across product, development, and infrastructure teams
• Self-motivated and self-starting; able to operate independently while seeking clarity when appropriate
• Highly collaborative with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of the Financial, Health, or Insurance Services Industry preferred
• Intellectual curiosity to find new and unusual ways of how to solve cyber security issues
• Ability to approach cyber security challenges while keeping an eye on the overall business picture
• Ability to create and maintaining respectful, strong working relationships with both IT and business units to integrate security principles with business operations
• Strong client service orientation
• Knowledge of NIST and CIS practices and frameworks preferred
