As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Ventura, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence assists in helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. This role emphasizes routine patrols and visible engagement, along with exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities observed during patrols or while on post.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to support security-related needs and emergency response efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
