Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Logistics in Mesquite, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential as you interact with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and site personnel regarding incidents and security-related matters.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and unauthorized access within the location.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
