Senior Consultant

Cognizant Digital Engineering is seeking an experienced IT Consultant with a strong technical background and expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, and Product Management. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Telecommunications domain and a proven track record in designing, developing, and managing products.

Location : Englewood, CO (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Architect, design, and develop high-quality software solutions using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Implement best practices and design patterns to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical solutions that meet business needs.

Product Management:

• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
• Prioritize features, create user stories, and maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product releases.

Cloud Services:

• Utilize AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of cloud-based solutions.

Telecommunications Domain (Nice to Have):

• Leverage domain knowledge to provide insights and solutions tailored to the telecommunications industry.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in telecommunications.

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud computing.
• Strong product management skills with experience in managing the full product lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in the telecommunications domain is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

The annual salary for this position is between $105,000 – 165,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
