Job Description

Our client, a Top 50 National CPA Firm, is seeking a Senior Manager to provide general accounting and financial advisory services to our clients. This person will play an integral role in expanding the firm's service offerings, specifically in outsourced accounting, monthly financial reporting and U.S. GAAP financial statements. The candidate will be responsible to build and manage a growing team.

The role is based in the firm's Pasadena, LA office

*Senior Manager of Client Accounting Services Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant field
* CPA license required or relevant accounting certification
* 10+ years of experience in audit and/or accounting role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
* Advanced knowledge of accounting standards
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
* Experience preparing financial statements using GAAP or other basis of accounting
* Knowledge of GAAP and standards related to compiled/reviewed financial statements
* Draft and/or review consolidated GAAP financial statements, work papers, footnotes, etc.
* Perform technical accounting research on complex transactions and prepare documentation outlining issues and conclusions
* Experience with Excel at an advanced level including understanding and ability to use pivot tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups, If/then statements, etc.
* Demonstrated prior team supervision and management experience with team accountability
* Demonstrated expert of business development, strategy, and practice development
* Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff

Pay: $140,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
