Job Description

Senior Manager, Segment Finance

Join the Sodexo team as a Senior Manager, Segment Finance, overseeing the financial aspects of the San Ramon Conference Center, a high-profile client. This onsite role is located in San Ramon, California.

Responsibilities

  • Provide company leaders with insights for decisionmaking purposes.
  • Assist the team with forecast, budget, and monthly accounting processes.
  • Lead individual workstreams to identify improvements and implement solutions to current processes.
  • Act as a consultant on various projects to support management requests.
  • Complete adhoc projects related to data consolidation, analysis, and variance analysis as assigned.
  • Work with stakeholders from various functions to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
  • Manage vendor management, client invoicing, vendor invoice payment, monthly financial close, forecast, and budget processes.
  • Drive escalations as needed to leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills (Office 365, Smartsheet, relational databases, etc.) and the ability to think outside the box.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and perform under pressure due to tight deadlines.
  • Able to work efficiently in an independent environment.
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and able to deal with high complexity with strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in a fastpaced corporate environment.
  • PowerBI experience.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Minimum education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum management experience: 5 years.
  • Minimum functional experience: 3 years.
