Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join their team in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage plumbing and fire protection design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and budgets.
• Develop plumbing and fire protection designs, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of plumbing and fire protection systems with overall building design.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on plumbing and fire protection design.
• Perform site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Prepare and present reports and proposals to clients.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in plumbing and fire protection design.
• Build and maintain client relationships for repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection codes, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
