Responsibilities: • Lift Operation: Start, stop, and monitor lifts, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. • Guest Assistance: Help skiers and snowboarders load and unload, provide instructions, and offer general resort info. • Safety & Patrol: Check lift passes/tickets, manage lift lines (crowd control), identify hazards, and implement emergency procedures (like calling Ski Patrol). • Maintenance: Shovel snow, clear ice, maintain lift mazes (ramps/fences), and perform daily equipment inspections. • Customer Service: Maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude and resolve minor guest issues. Qualifications: • Outdoors: Primarily outside in all weather (cold, snow, wind) on slippery surfaces. • Physical Demands: Standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, shoveling snow, and working around moving machinery. • Skills: Excellent customer service, alertness, responsibility, and ability to work as part of a team. Compensation: $15 per hour
