ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As Test Engineer for the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) program, you’ll be a member of the engineering test team responsible for helping verify for the future of Army Aviation Airspace and Mission Planning software. In this role, you will be able to ensure the delivery of a more stable and reliable solution for our warfighter. What sets you apart: Support the IMPACT team in ensuring the software meets the requirements and appropriate performance for our Army Aviation and Mission Planning soldiers. Develop work products documenting verification of system requirements. Responsible for identifying, document and tracking anomalies discovered during continuous integration and test. You be part of a small team of test engineers to test the capabilities, performance, and stability in a modern, integrated Army Aviation and Mission Planning tool that will be used by our Army air traffic controllers and aviators. As a key member of the test team, you will meet regularly with our systems, software, and user experience (Ux) teams to ensure we are verifying and validating the capabilities that are needed by these controllers and pilots. As a key part of the infrastructure team, you will have a key role in ensuring that the capabilities they need are reliable, performant and user-friendly.
