Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 2 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As Test Engineer for the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) program, you’ll be a member of the engineering test team responsible for helping verify for the future of Army Aviation Airspace and Mission Planning software. In this role, you will be able to ensure the delivery of a more stable and reliable solution for our warfighter. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Software test design and planning experience, hands on and automated software testing experience and, Operational Army Aviation Airspace and Mission Planning experience. What sets you apart: Support the IMPACT team in ensuring the software meets the requirements and appropriate performance for our Army Aviation and Mission Planning soldiers. Develop work products documenting verification of system requirements. Responsible for identifying, document and tracking anomalies discovered during continuous integration and test. You be part of a small team of test engineers to test the capabilities, performance, and stability in a modern, integrated Army Aviation and Mission Planning tool that will be used by our Army air traffic controllers and aviators. As a key member of the test team, you will meet regularly with our systems, software, and user experience (Ux) teams to ensure we are verifying and validating the capabilities that are needed by these controllers and pilots. As a key part of the infrastructure team, you will have a key role in ensuring that the capabilities they need are reliable, performant and user-friendly. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $85,239.00 - USD $94,562.00 /Yr.
