JOB DESCRIPTION TMZ is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to build and implement product strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience retrieving and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products. As Sr. Product Manager, you are the advocate for our users; identifying opportunities to improve the experience by listening to feedback, analyzing behavior, and experimenting with features that surprise and delight our audience base. You will examine the funnel within which casual visitors become regular users and develop strategies to reduce fallout and drive conversion. This position is based onsite in Playa Vista, CA. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps Supervise and mentor the growth of a junior product manager Heavy stakeholder management and coordination with cross-functional teams Prepare and review product requirements documents (PRD) Create tickets and supervise the Kanban Organize product releases properly and ensure compliance with schedule Prepare recommendations to expand product base and vision Prepare recommendations to track product use and impact on end users Manage multiple vendor relationships Create product mocks and work closely with the art team to define the appropriate visualization Areas of focus: Ad strategy, personalization, app & newsletter strategy Establish self as subject-matter expert on digital products, best practices, competition, and the latest industry trends Assist with all aspects of the product lifecycle, including strategy, product requirements definition, design, competitive research, forecasting, launch plans, testing, and future enhancements Regularly track product performance and success metrics, and report them to stakeholders Requirements: 5+ years' experience of working as a Product Manager building products for digital media In-depth experience in adtech, 1st party cookies, personalization, AI & A/B testing Strong technical proficiency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and UX Design Very comfortable working within the Adobe tech stack, Github, Monday, G suite, and Confluence Significant experience in product lifecycle management and working in an Agile environment Expert at troubleshooting, with a strong voice of expertise and authority Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach Bachelor's Degree required (Computer Science, Engineering or other related area preferred, but not required) Experience with indirect ad technologies, delivery, and implementation Experience working with Android, iOS, Web, CMS, APIs, and third-party platforms Experience with OTT, Smart Speaker, Smart Surfaces, and other emerging platforms a plus Digital news publishing experience preferred but not required TMZ is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $130,000.00-140,000.00 annually for high cost labor markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $108,300.00-116,600.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
