Substitute Custodian

Position Summary: Performs a variety of work in connection with the custodial, grounds cleanup, and light maintenance at a school campus, classroom, multi-use, office, or related facilities.

Work Year: Continuous
Employee Type: Full Time and Part Time
Salary: $19.83-26.62 per hour (based on the classification)

Substitutes are ‘on-call’ employees serving on a day-to-day basis. Be advised that absences are unpredictable; therefore assignment offers are not guaranteed.

Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED is preferred. Prior custodial experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certificates

  • Must pass Employee Entrance Evaluation (Strength Testing)
  • May require a valid driver’s license

  • Driver's License Copy (Valid California Driver's License)
  • Other (Current proof of automobile Insurance (insurance card or declaration page with applicant's name listed))
