Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance, including federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Lead tax planning and strategy initiatives to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment on tax matters and financial reporting.
• Assist in tax audits and handle queries from tax authorities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest tax law changes and industry developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency of tax-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or EA preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in tax management or public accounting, including a focus on Tax and Real Estate Industry.
• Proficiency in tax software CCH, Drake and Microsoft Office Suite.
