Location: Lawrenceville, GA (No local candidates within 50 miles)
Shift: Day Shift, 8 hours (Schedule: 6:45am-5:15pm)
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at QuickMed Staffing in Lawrenceville, GA. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Local candidates within 50 miles are not considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assess patient conditions, review medical histories, and prepare patients for procedures.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform pre- and post-procedure care as required.
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during patient care.

Requirements:

- Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
- Required certifications: BLS (Basic -Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Quick Med Staffing Job ID #2025-81466. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
