Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and strong critical care background.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work within a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
• Care for pediatric, adult, and elderly patients, including both acute and chronic cases
• Perform and assist with specialized radiology procedures, including those requiring conscious sedation
• Ten-hour day shifts, four days per week, between Monday and Friday with variable day off
• Weekend shifts as needed and rotating call coverage required in evening and weekend hours
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, emergency intervention, and assisting radiologists with procedures
• Documentation of patient status and interventions is required
• Must provide health teaching and procedural information to patients and families
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently is essential
• Must adhere to department protocols regarding patient safety, privacy, and identification
• Holiday shifts are required as part of the schedule

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 3-5 years of nursing experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Strong skills in physical assessment, aseptic technique, IV administration, and universal precautions
• Proficiency with monitors, infusion pumps, oxygen equipment, and ventilators
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic computer skills required
