Job Description:

75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submitcandidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do notallow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with anactive NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed withinitial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after theacceptance date will not be approved.  When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.

11 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required inMed/Surg unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fastpaced environment. Must havesuccessfully completed at least one 11-week travel assignment. Position willfloat to other areas as needed. Will float to ED to care for admittedinpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

CERTS : BLS certification required. BLS must be completed throughAmerican Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.EPIC EMR experience preferred. 

SHIFTS : 12 hour NIGHT shift position . Shift start time: 19:00 - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to floatwithin facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. 

ORIENTATION : 1st week of the contract, not to exceed40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. 

SCRUBS :  For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, andjacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.

2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
