Job Details

• Unit Name: Float Pool
• All candidates will need to complete a virtual interview for this role.
• Offers will be made based on that interview.
• Please ensure that all candidates have a full skills checklist with their resume combined on one document.
• Boone Health now requires that all nurse candidates provide current CEU documentation during the compliance process
• 32 bed fast paced unit.
• Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:6; may go up to 1:8. Nurses must be willing to take 8 when needed.
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatric
• Remote TeleNurse will float to all MS units, cardio, medicine, ortho, surgical, Neuro and Oncology.
• Common Equipment: IV pumps, Tele, SCD's, PCA pump, Lifts, gait belts, CO2 monitoring
• Line Management/Skills: Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care
• Ortho/MS/Onc Skills: Required: Traction, CPM, Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac
• Cardiac: Required: Remote Tele, Tele Interpretation
• Airway Skills: Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care

Job Requirements

• Complete a virtual interview
• Provide a full skills checklist with resume
• Provide current CEU documentation during the compliance process
• Willingness to take increased patient ratio as needed

Schedule Information

• Effective 01.08.2024 - 16 Hours of Unpaid Orientation
• Boone Health can call off staff for up to 36 hours in a contract

Unit Specific Information

• Will float to all MS units, cardio, medicine, ortho, surgical, Neuro and Oncology

Additional Details

• Candidates will receive a virtual interview invitation before submitting to the hospital for consideration
• A complete packet is required or the candidate will be denied
• Checklist must be the first page of the submission packet
