First Connect Health is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Midland, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

Travel Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) – OR

Location: Midland, MI

Schedule

• 12-hour Day Shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours guaranteed
• 1–2 nights of call per week
• Every 4th weekend call
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons throughout procedures, including positioning, draping, retracting, suctioning, suturing, stapling, and tissue handling
• Ensure all instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and properly charged
• Support patient transport, positioning, and perioperative care
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques

Requirements

• 2+ years CSFA experience – required
• NBSTSA certification – required
• BLS (AHA) – required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Permanent address required for submission
