Unified Protective Services Inc., we offer professional and complete security services for commercial, residential, non-profit organizations working with unhoused and industrial customers throughout California.
Providing armed and unarmed security officers, ODO (Off Duty Officers) and patrol services. Unified Protective Services, Inc., provides our customers with the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities:
· Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, accidents and prevent fires.
· Conduct foot patrols
· Monitor activities.
· Wellness checks
· Access control
· Safety escorts
· Using provided communication devices.
· Represent UPS services.
· Properly wear the issued uniform
· Work with local law enforcement and emergency services
· Provide friendly services to customers, employees and visitors.
· Observe for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site.
· Other duties as described in Post Orders
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must have an active guard card.
· A valid ID or driver's license
· A valid Firearm Permit
· Baton & Pepper Gel permits are a plus.
· Reliable transportation
· Honesty and Integrity.
· Able to work non-traditional hours including swing, graveyard, weekends and holidays.
· Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations.
· Bilingual is a plus.
.Provide Proof of Purchase of owned weapon.
Education and experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years of guard experience preferred.
· Law enforcement (P.O.S.T Certification) and/or military experience with an honorable discharge (DD214)
· Knowledge of security protocols and equipment
Physical requirements:
· Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols.
· Able to stand 8-12 hours a day.
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
