Job Overview:
As the Practice Manager (PM), you will play a pivotal role in the success of our hospital. Youll foster a positive culture based on shared values and open communication while enhancing operational efficiencies. The PM acts as the Integrator on our accountability chart, participating in leadership meetings and ensuring that our team thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities of hospital technicians, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Hospital Administrator to prepare and manage budgets.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance.
- Implement safety and security procedures alongside the OSHA officer.
- Lead regular staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.
- Promote a cooperative and motivated work environment.

Requirements:
- Proven ability to analyze data, establish priorities, and initiate operational programs.
- Strong personal judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in leading and coaching staff at all levels.
- Compassionate approach to client interactions and animal care.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service.
- Proficiency in math and Excel/spreadsheet applications.
- Preferred: Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation or equivalent, with 2-3 years of experience.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted and more with assistance.
- Flexibility to work uncommon hours, overtime, and respond to business emergencies.
