MBS is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects.
• Performs complex dimensional layouts to complete products without fixtures
• Completes complex weldments without guidance or supervision
• Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds, and cleans metal.
• Produces work daily that is consistently accurate.
• Provides feedback to supervisor on problems with the welding process.
• Must generate quality welds
• Extensive blueprint reading and weld symbol understanding.
• Capability to MIG weld
• Capability to TIG weld
• Must be able to Spray Arc
• Capability to weld all types of materials.
• Must be able to assist in fixture design on specific products.
• Ability to perform complex dimensional calculations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fit up issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding machine issues.
• Ability to set up welding machines to different types of materials.
• Must create quality welds, identify poor welds, and know how to repair

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in welding fabrication and all necessary certification in
• welding, metals fabrication, machining.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and a high degree of precision in executing assigned tasks.
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
• Must be able to lift40- 80lbs safely.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or 2nd-shift as needed to meet deadlines.
