Using expressive arts, play, and equine therapies, youth counselors facilitate school groups, individual sessions, and summer camps with a highly passionate and tight-knit team of counselors. This position offers a wonderfully balanced blend of flexible work and scheduling hours, in-office and out-of-office time, and fun utilization of evidenced-based counseling techniques, which makes this more than just a job. It creates purpose, passion and pride in knowing that at the end of the day, every effort you made mattered to someone who needed the help.
HopeWest is the only program of its kind on the Western Slope and one of the most innovative and respected programs in the country. When impacted by serious illness or the death of a loved one, children and their families often need support in learning their new normal.
