Job Title :   Youth Pastor - Decatur

Position Summary  : The Youth Pastor’s primary responsibility is to lead and oversee the student ministry (grades 6-12), while also working closely with the Campus Pastor to oversee day to day operations, develop and multiply leaders, and create/manage systems and processes that advance the mission and values of Trinity Fellowship Church.

• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
• Proficient with online modes of communication including social media platforms and church database systems.

Summary of Activities 

• Lead & oversee weekly services and activities for 6th-12th grade students.
• Participate in the development of an annual strategic plan for the Decatur Campus
• Identify and relationally connect with volunteers, members, or visitors within the campus to lead them to the “next step” in their discipleship journey.
• Attend weekly staff meeting reviewing campus summary, metrics, strategic action items, goals, and completing tasks as assigned.
• Lead and/or facilitate monthly Growth Track Class
• Lead and/or facilitate meetings with Dream Team Champions/Captains to ensure proper training and resourcing for all teams
• Facilitate volunteer check-in ensuring proper setup, equipment functionality, and adequate staffing of volunteers
• Create, publish, or update calendar and communications for campus events with pertinent approved content.
• Respond as needed to congregational pastoral care needs.
• Preach and/or service lead for the campus or ministry as needed
• Facilitate and/or officiate baptisms, weddings, funerals, and member counseling.
• Attend monthly All-Staff meetings in Amarillo.

• Passionate and called to disciple students to follow Jesus
• Spirit-filled / Charismatic background 
• Proven experience in youth ministry, demonstrating creativity and effectiveness in outreach and discipleship.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with youth, parents, and volunteers.
• Theologically aligned with Trinity Fellowship Church, with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
