The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) is seeking full-time Animal Care Technician to join the Animal Care team at our Des Moines Animal Services location! This position plays a vital role in providing daily care for animals and interacting with the public to provide education and support centered around animal care and adoption.

Key Responsibilities include providing daily care for our animals, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health and well-being, maintaining a clean and safe environment for the animals and ensuring proper sanitation, offering enrichment activities to ensure the animals are provided with mental and physical stimulation, and interacting with the public to provide education and support around animal care, adoptions, and animal services.
We are seeking qualified candidates who have experience with animal care and customer service, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills and openness to new ideas, a self-motivated team player and someone with a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive culture at the ARL.
