About the Company - Our client, a leading owner/operator/developer in the organic and agricultural waste sector, is seeking an Assistant PM / Construction Associate to join its team. Focused on advancing decarbonization, the organisation aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural operations and food waste, generate renewable energy, and promote regenerative agricultural practices in partnership with farms.

About the Role - The Assistant PM / Construction Associate will assist in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects, managing internal requests, project design schedules, budgets, and documentation, and collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Preconstruction Specialists in planning, coordinating, and executing potential construction projects.
  • Support Preconstruction Specialists with their Reporting and perform all Preconstruction Meeting Administration activities.
  • Actively manage internal requests to Preconstruction, from the Real Estate Development Associates to support their Permitting efforts.
  • Manage Project Design Schedules, Geotech and Layout budgets, and documentation to ensure timely and efficient delivery to Development Team.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain excellent working relationships and schedule execution.
  • Conduct site visits of predeveloped projects (once per month on average) and create Field Observation/Existing Conditions Reports.
  • Track and manage Preconstruction project changes, ensuring clear communication across all departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in construction project experience, ideally with a General Contractor, or Project Owner
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Procore.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Pay range and compensation package -$85,000 to $95,000
