We’re hiring an Assistant Property Manager / Leasing Professional for a garden-style apartment community in Bergen County. This role handles leasing, resident relations, and day-to-day on-site operations along with our Senior Manager. Great opportunity to join a fast-growing multifamily firm with a strong local presence.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease apartments; follow up with all leads
• Process applications, screenings, move-ins, and renewals
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents
• Issue notices and assist with resident accounts
• Coordinate work orders and unit turns with maintenance
• Maintain property appearance and ensure grounds are clean
• Manage listings, online marketing, and weekly occupancy reporting
• Handle administrative tasks, files, and compliance

Requirements

• 1+ years in property management or leasing preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently
• Professional demeanor and strong follow-through
• Reliable transportation
