Reports to : Ballpark Entertainment Manager
Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal)
Summary/Objective: Camera Operator will control cameras and equipment at Space Cowboys games/special events for MiLB TV as well as cams for in-game promotions. They will be required to capture specific shots during a game, handle a portable camera to capture action close-ups and interviews or use a stationary camera for specific in-game shots.

- Setup and breakdown of Camera
- Shooting pre-game and post-game events and in-game promotions (fan cams, on-field games, etc.)
- Shooting in-game action
- Taking direction from the technical director
Education and/or Experience & Skills: - Experience operating a video camera
- Experience operating a tripod
- Experience with basic organization of wires and cables
- Able to pay attention to the game and know what is going on
- Basic communication with your technical director and other managers/operators
- Knowledge on basic camera terms (pan, tilt, zoom, etc.)
- Knowledge on baseball and how the game is played
Work Environment The position will perform work in a stadium, office, and local community environment where noise/crowd levels greatly vary. The position is subject to varying temperatures and weather extremes.
Physical Demands - Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to stand for entire length of shift.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently.
- Ability to be in the heat for long periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
