Job Description

The Client Service Associate/Trader provides critical support to the firm and our daily operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with advisors and other operations team members in a highly professional and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with custodial paperwork and processing of forms, including applications, new accounts, and account transfers
2. Coordinate and track the new clients through the onboarding process
3. Assist Senior Trader with management of client portfolios, including rebalancing and processing money movement requests, such as wire transfers/ACH distributions, family gifting, charitable gifting and other asset movement requests
4. Monitor custodial transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and to ensure compliance with firm policies and/or industry regulations
5. Be detail oriented and proactively seek to resolve any client or vendor issues or concerns
6. Leverage technology to generate client reports and organize client data consistently and efficiently
7. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the growth and development of the firm
8. Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry; Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional FPQP designation and Series 65 (or equivalent) preferred
2. Sound judgment and the ability to be proactive and decisive
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
4. Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
5. Ability to work independently and with a team
