Civil Litigation Attorney (Contract-to-Permanent)
Location: Beverly Hills, CA

James L. Reynolds, Esq., a respected civil litigation and trial attorney in Beverly Hills, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to assist in handling complex and high-value litigation matters . This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role based on performance and demonstrated ability.
You will work closely on a diverse caseload, including supporting high-stakes trial work . This opportunity is ideal for a capable and motivated attorney looking to grow with an expanding practice.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift (No Remote)
Expected Hours: 30 to 40 hours/week
Compensation: $70–$120 per hour (based on experience and demonstrated skill)
Benefits:
Medical insurance provided after 90 days (for ongoing contracts or permanent hire)
Paid parking
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with high-value, complex civil litigation and trial preparation (federal and state)
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, discovery, memorandums, and correspondence
Analyze legal issues and develop strategic approaches to litigation and trial
Manage deadlines and case progression under minimal supervision
Collaborate directly with principal attorney on litigation and trial matters
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
Civil litigation experience mandatory
Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
Excellent legal writing and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Attention to detail and ability to handle complex legal issues independently
Positive, pleasant and calm attitude mandatory
Follow detailed instructions
