Job Description
Amergis Staffing is currently hiring experienced and qualified Registered Nurses (RN) for correctional opportunities with the NC Department of Adult Corrections (NCDAC).
Schedule:
+ Day & Night Shifts Available
+ Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
+ Rotation: 36/48-hour rotating schedule with every other weekend off
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals.
+ Administer medications, monitor patient health, and respond to emergencies.
+ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to NCDAC protocols.
Requirements
+ Active RN license in North Carolina.
+ Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
+ Preferred: Experience with NCDAC and/or corrections nursing.
+ Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
