Main purpose of the Design Intern, Camila Coehlo role: This is a full time role for a candidate who Intern will help with general design admin duties supporting the Camila Coehlo team and learning our day-to-day process in Design. Daily tasks are described below. Major Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with market research of competitors for inspiration and product opportunities. Research fabrics, finishes, and styling details for review by the Designer. Work with the design team to develop products from conception to production, ensuring quality and consistency in fit, fabric, and finish. Create, maintain, and update construction details, including fit commentary and design changes in PLM and line sheets. Support cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, product development, and tech. Attend and assist in fittings, bringing clear design intent and working with the Designer to achieve the desired fit. Required Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adhere to the time and action calendar communicated by Design leadership. Contribute positively to the team dynamic and proactively communicate updates or changes. Maintain a constant sense of urgency while balancing creativity and attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications: Fashion Design major required Understanding of garment construction, fit, and finishing. Hand sketching abilities Working knowledge of PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and driven with a passion for fashion and innovation. Preferred Qualifications: Fashion Design major required A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
