Electrician Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team, working on offshore drilling operations. As an Electrician with our organization, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on our drilling rigs.
Electrician Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure on drilling rigs
Conduct electrical inspections, tests, and troubleshooting to ensure systems are functioning properly
Work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot electrical solutions
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing electrical components
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
Electrician Position Requirements
~ Valid electrical license and certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEC)
~3+ years of experience in offshore or drilling operations, preferably in an electrical role
~ Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
~ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
~ Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with electrical equipment
~ Strong communication and teamwork skills
Electrician Preferred Position Requirements
Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Knowledge of offshore electrical systems, including power generation and distribution
Certification in electrical inspection or testing
Experience with electrical panel upgrades or renovations
