Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at The Inn At The Convention Center . This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of hotel front desk activities during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Duties:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
• Conduct night audits, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management review.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Handle reservations and cancellations using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy in bookings.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Assist with phone systems, including answering calls promptly and addressing guest needs or concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is preferred (Not required can train you!).
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Proficient in using phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
