Geologist
Key Role:
Leverage expertise in the field of earth science to provide laboratory and field support to clients. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with limited oversight. Mentor or supervise junior staff in both company and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications: \n - 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering, and soil and rock mechanics
\n - Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring environmental control systems to maintain regulatory and company environmental standards
\n - Experience c ond ucting analyses of hard and deeply buried underground facilities and the surrounding geology under applied loads, environmental c ond itions, and weapon s effects
\n - Experience examining seismic, electrical, or electromagnetics data to characterize underground facilities and hard and deeply buried targets
\n - Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
\n - Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
\n - Certified Professional Geologist, Professional Geologist ( PG ) License, Certified Hydrologist ( CHG ) , or Certified Environmental Geologist ( CEG ) Certification

Additional Qualifications: \n - Experience c ond ucting environment audits and developing solutions to environmental problems
\n - Experience managing and overseeing sites
\n - Experience utilizing GIS, statistical analysis, analytical, and modeling tools
\n - Experience supporting the DoD
\n - TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
\n - Master's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
