St. Catherine's High School is seeking a long term substitute teacher to teach High School Science for approximately 1-3 months, beginning as soon as possible. St. Catherine's is a Catholic High School in Racine which boasts small class sizes with a family feel.

Job Summary:

• Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject areas.
• Helping to develop and implement curriculum that is aligned with Wisconsin State Standards, Common Core Standards and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as they evolve.
• Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
• Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.

• Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred

• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices

• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.
