CWS Health is seeking a local contract Clinic Pathologists' Assistant for a local contract job in Los Angeles, California.

This is a great opportunity for a 1 year contract at a nice facility in West LA/Century City, with hours between 9am and 8:30 pm (5 x 8). The pay is 50-70 per hour with a guaranteed 40 hour week.

Under the supervision and direction of the Chief of Anatomic Pathology, and/or Director of Operations, Anatomic Pathology, and/or the Clinical Specialist – Supervisor, the Clinical Specialist (Pathologist’ Assistant) provides support to the Anatomic Pathology Department. Responsibilities include description, photographing, and grossing of specimens and assistance with frozen sections. The Pathologists’ Assistant may assist with administrative functions including preparation and administrative maintenance of protocols, procedures, reports, data, and instruments and may perform administrative, budgetary, teaching, and other duties.

Minimum qualifications: Must have BA or BS degree and be PA(ASCP) certified
