Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As the Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing cabling infrastructure, installing IP security cameras, access control hardware, and network equipment. You will also handle all Low Voltage support requests and assist colleagues with their project installations. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of our company and allowing us to reach our business goals. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain Cabling infrastructure , security surveillance systems and access controls in working order
  • Install, Terminate and Test Cat 6 network infrastructure including fiber optics 
  • Install, Terminate and Test Surveillance systems including cameras, network video recorders, and networking equipment
  • Install and configure hardware & software
  • Install, Terminate and Test Access Control System including hardware and software

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience installing CCTV camera systems including IP Cameras, NVR Equipment and Access Controls.
  • Previous experience as an Low Voltage Technician is preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of data privacy and security 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Axis, Milestone, Genetec
  • Certifications in Lenel, Honeywell, Mercury
  • Certification in BISCI Industry Standards
